Integrated Life Cycle Assessment Modelling of Densified Fuel Production from Various Biomass Species

This work presents new data on the life cycle impact assessment of various lignocellulosic biomass types in Mexico. A comparative model densification systems was conducted. An integrated approach that incorporated process variables, such as technology and variations feed properties, within analysis employed to evaluate environmental producing 1 MJ energy-containing densified fuel. The results show unit curing (fuel drying) have highest cycle’s operational energy total energy, respectively.
